After a successful two and half years as Director of Promotional Sales, Outdoor Cap is pleased to announce that Jenny Straub is now the Director of Strategic Partnerships.
This newly created role allows Straub the chance to focus on cultivating new and exciting relationships that grow sales for Outdoor Cap and its distributors.
“Jenny has been in the promotional products industry for over 20 years. She is well known, amazing at creating relationships and connections, and has a passion to grow the headwear business.” said SR Director of Sales and Licensing Jamie Jeter.
Entering this new role, Straub plans to “create opportunistic and creative solutions to enhance partnerships with key accounts”. This should come naturally to her after her work on the Cappy Hour web series during the early days of the pandemic. This series focused on giving customers a fresh new way to connect and sell in the virtual world. It is still being used by customers 2 years later.
Jeter added, “Jenny has helped us battle through a pandemic, a supply chain crisis, and her overall passion to service the PR accounts has not changed. Allowing her to focus solely on our key accounts will only help us define a path in the promotional products industry.”
With all the success Straub has gained through the years, Jeter considers her biggest success as “the way she continuously goes above and beyond to put herself in new situations for the good of the company”.
Straub grew up in Northern Kentucky, only 10 minutes from Cincinnati. She moved to Bentonville, AR with her husband, Brian, and 12-year-old son, Ian, 2.5 years ago.
“We absolutely fell in love with the small town feel with all the amenities of a big city. We love to hike, mountain bike, visit breweries, and play outdoor and indoor games together.” said Straub.
Straub also holds a CAS and is working towards her MAS certification.
