Saving Grace and Single Parent Scholarship Fund Donations
Each quarter we select local charities and non-profits to benefit our donation drive. For the first
half of Q3, we selected Saving Grace and the Single Parent
Scholarship Fund. OC collected school supplies up until the week before school
began.
Color of Hope Gala
On the evening of Friday, August 3rd, three representatives from Outdoor Cap attended the Color of Hope Gala benefitting Arkansas Children’s Northwest. The event included a dinner, live auction, silent auction, and musical entertainment.

Bass Pro Shop Cap Recreation
One of our Bass Pro Shops buyers, Angie, reached out to us with a special request. Angie had been contacted by a customer whose brother, David, suffers from a brain injury and lives in a nursing home. He has a Bass Pro hat that he adores, but the customer was concerned that if it was misplaced or stolen it would cause him a great deal of distress. Unfortunately, the cap couldn’t be found in stores, so Angie asked if we could recreate something similar for him.
We don’t always get follow ups on special requests like this, but we were overjoyed to hear back from
David’s sister. We sent him a few styles as close to his beloved hat as possible and cried when
he opened the package.
A New Addition to the OC Family
Cory and Caitlin McClaren welcomed Miss Delaney on Friday, August 24th, three whole weeks before her due date. She weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 2oz and was 20in long. Please help us congratulate the new parents!

Brielle has joined the JUNK team as a Product Sewer.
