Outdoor Cap Wins Outstanding Corporation Award

We’re proud to announce Outdoor Cap was selected as the winner of the 2016 Outstanding Corporation Award for National Philanthropy Day!

Presented by the Northwest Arkansas (NWA) Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the National Philanthropy Day Awards honor local philanthropists who are nominated because they have made NWA a better place to live and work through their dedication to the community.

National Philanthropy Day is recognized each year on November 15th.

The Outstanding Corporation award is given to a company that demonstrates exemplary commitment to the nonprofit community through encouraging and motivating others to take leadership roles in philanthropy and community involvement.

An anonymous panel of community members selects honorees to be recognized.

We were nominated for the award by the Sunshine School and Development Center. We have partnered with them for several years and even funded the addition of a wing.

Located in Rogers, the Sunshine School has been serving NWA families for over 55 years. With a full nursing and therapy staff, students with developmental disorders can have all of their needs met beyond a traditional classroom.Edit4.jpg
